Anal Cancer in the LGBTQIA Populations
Anal cancer refers to the type of cancer that occurs on the anus, particularly at the distal opening to the gastrointestinal tract. The disease may manifest in various ways, including bleeding from the anal area or the development of a lump near the anus. Furthermore, the disease may manifest through pain, itchiness, or sometimes, anal discharging. While there are several risk factors, the human papillomavirus (HPV), HIV/AIDS, and engaging in anal sex are the leading causes of anal cancer. Other less common risk factors include engaging in heterosexual or anal sex behavior with several sexual partners. With at least 8300 individuals testing positive in the United States yearly, the disease is one of the leading cancer-related diseases in the US (National Cancer Institute, n.p). Furthermore, there is a worrying trend since the 1990s, with the latest increase in the United States being estimated at 68% as of 2019.

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that is caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). The disease is known to be dangerous especially because of its acute and chronic effects on the liver. The disease has been known to be affecting the human race since the Bronze Age, as evidenced by findings from 4500 year-old human remains. Over the years many viral strains that caused the disease have become extinct with new ones adapting to new environments. The effects of the disease have been recorded with the earliest record of the disease’s epidemic being recorded in 1885, after small pox vaccine extracted from lymph of patients were administered to ship crew at Bremen. The outbreak turned to be instrumental in enabling scientists to come up with a vaccine. However, despite a lot of research, to this day, the disease has been a major challenge to the human race (Wang, 2017). This paper is aimed at discussing hepatitis B, providing information on the demographics of interest, the social determinants of health, and the epidemiologic triangle. As well, the paper will discuss the roles of community nursing in handling the disease, the global implications of the disease, and how other countries have addressed the disease.

Reproduction is the process of formation of new young individuals by the grown up individuals that look very much like them. It is one of the most important and fundamental properties of living organisms by which every kind of living organism multiples to form new individuals of its own kind. Thus, reproduction is meant for the continuation of the species. Reproduction, thus, creates new life and is essential for the perpetuation of species. It gives rise to new organisms with the same basic characteristics as their parents. It plays an important role in evolution by transmitting favorable variations from one generation to another.
