£1.50 Preview RemoveMathematical Modelling of Surface Water Pollution
Surface water pollution is the pollution of aquatic systems that are above ground, such as streams, lakes and rivers. The water becomes polluted when rainwater runoff carries pollutants into the water. The pollutants can be dangerous for the environment as well as for the health of the organisms that inhabit them. The main objective of this paper is to develop a model of water pollution in the lake due to the leakage of toxic chemical into the lake. The model discussed in this paper is mixing model. The purpose of the model is to provide an alternative way to control the water pollution level in the lake and thus minimize the risk of unsafe drinking water to be consumed by residents.
