Intrinsic and Extrinsic apoptosis pathway. This is a diagram representing the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways for apoptosis (a.k.a programmed cell death). This also connects the two pathways and represent other factors (like IAPs, anti-IAPs, Only BH3-Bcl proteins) play role in apoptosis. The aim of this diagrammatic represntation is to understand how these pathways are interconnected and the various factors that influence them. This can be used by a professor to help students understand apoptosis better or by a student as a refrencing guide while studying related text. The pathway is made by me using Pathvisio software. You can use Molecular Biology of the Cell, 4th edition. (ISBN-10 : 0-8153-4072-9) for reference. Any improvements would be greatly appreciated.
