Accelerated Life Test of Capacitors

In today’s world, competition makes product manufacturers to make their product more reliable and long term use. Manufacturer has to design product by considering reduced failure time by accelerating life of product at higher stress level. ALT (Accelerated Life Test) is to estimate reliability of product and to accelerate, shorten the failure times of the product. ALT is used in product design phase and product validation phase. The reliability of product qualified them by testing at higher stress. ALT is quantitative. A quantitative test is performed during design and development to create failure as quickly as possible. Improvement of reliability is depends on failure analysis and subsequent corrective actions.
