Did you know that if all geologic time was shortened into one day, humans would have ruined
the earth in a span of 30 seconds? The earth is roughly four billion years old, and throughout that
time there have been various life forms and different types of creatures that have inhabited it
...
Mind you, these events were all due to widespread natural disasters and things that
could not in any way be controlled by the living organisms on the planet
...
Ladies and gents we are officially part of the sixth mass extinction,
otherwise known as the Holocene extinction
...
Now you might be
asking yourself: what specifically have humans done other than improve our environment? Well
I’ll tell ya! First of all burning of fossil fuels for whatever reason isn’t good for our ozone
...
And the absolute worst thing for
the environment is commercial farming
...
Not
only that but did you know that the commercial farming industry uses about 80% of the earth’s
natural resources? There are starving children in Africa, but we’re using all of that food and all
of those resources to feed the animals
...
Because, I mean
who really cares about the animals? I can live without them
...
That whole statement is
wrong every single living thing on this earth is here for a reason, and it serves a specific purpose
...
And we can make efforts to change, and small changes are
being made every day
...
The truth is we
can’t undo what we’ve already done, all we can do is try and clean up our mess
