In this task, I aimed to show different techniques within my display in order to entice the
customer to buy the goods

Along with this, if the display is much larger, the
customer will be more drawn to the focal points of the display

In the display, you can also notice I chose to display the items in descending
order in terms of price, starting with the hoodie at the top and the scarf at the bottom, as I
would rather the more expensive items sell the most, in order to maximize the revenue from
the display

In terms of the colour of the display, I used a dark grey shelf as I thought it would contrast
well against the white background, as if I used a white shelf, then the display would be far
less effective, as the display would just go into the background and as a result, people would
just walk past
...
With this, all of my items are all black, so therefore, if I used a
black display, the items themselves wouldn’t be the main thing that catches the customers
eye, as there wouldn’t be any colour contrast, so with this I feel like the display I used was
the best option
...
In terms of the layout of the display, I changed it from a vertical display to a pyramid
display to cover more space, however, I did stick to the principle of stacking the items on
each compartment, as I felt this would be an effective way of drawing customer eyes, as by
using a pyramid technique, you want the customer to start looking at the bottom, and then
move their way up, rather than having all of the items grouped together, which wouldn’t be
very effective, so I felt by making these changes, it benefitted the display
