power to influence hundreds of lives and that is why, it is important to be aware of who owns a
gun and what kind of person owns guns because if it is an unstable person with mental illnesses
or a person with hatred against a certain race or ethnicity, then that could be dangerous and
threatening to the public because these two factors are one of the main reasons for almost all
shootings

The reason why I have decided to write about this topic is because millions of people
have been traumatized by these mass shootings and because although I’ve never been a victim,
sometimes I still fear that an incident like the ones we hear about in the news might happen in
school or somewhere close to my home and neighborhood and that is what inspired me to write
a paper on this topic
