The play Othello was inspired by italian prose written by
Giovanni cinzo in 1565,the italian prose by Giovanni was the main plot William Shakespeare's
Othello,a moorish general who was misled and thought his wife was unfaithful to him,William
shakespeare added some characters unlike giovanni's prose,he gave more recognition and
relevance to minor character like Lago,he also added some military conflict and more
supporting minor characters

The Othello play started in venice on a street,where Rodrigo and Lago were having a heated
conversations

then Rodrigo and Lago went to Brabantio the father of desdemona and lied to him that his
daughter captured and married to Othello,the moor,Brabantio went out and discovered that truly
his daughter was missing,then he sent out his officers to look for othello,Lago immediately
went back Othello so that he would not be noticed
...
later Othello came
and told her about his victory against the turks,Rodrigo told lago that he has no way of breaking
othello and desdemona marriage but Lago told Rodrigo that their would be over soon and
eventually she would loose interest in othello and start having an affair with michael
cassio,Lago also deceived Rodrigo to start a fight with cassio during the evening celebration,in
a silent thought Lago said that bringing cassio down is the first way of destroying othello,
during that night lago made cassio drunk and sent rodrigo to fight cassio,lago also told rodrigo
to let the fight be known

in the play titled "othello" the main character or protagonist in the play is called othello,this
man is called a moor black and a brrave one too,he was treasured by the venice established
because of his conduct of the bloody wars against the turks,he had as a consequence risen to
the rank of general in the venitian millitary service and was very much regarded and trusted
by the state,A widely traveled man with a rich experience of war and adventures full of 
stories,othello the moor later fell inlove with desdemona the daughter of a popular and
prestigious senator calleed "brabantio" and wedded secretly

lago planned to kill Michael cassio failed and he was caught for his trecheary and
villain

She is a minor character in the play,she is Desdemona attendant,she spends much of her day
in Desdemona's service,so she has insight and more clear to Desdemona life,this gives benefit
to the villain Lago,who is also Emilia husband to make Othello believe that Desdemona has
been unfaithful,Lago plan to use her and talk her into giving Desdemona handkerchief so that
Lago may plant it in cassio quarter,Emilia is unwavering to Desdemona,however she is faithful
to Lago too

This is one of the major theme found in the play "othello'' mainly because Othello is black and
Desdemona is white,many times throughout the play we see the character using openly racist
language to describe Othello calling him such names as an old black ram "A brabary horse"
because of his black lips,Othello is frequently described as if he were an animal or a hyper
sexualized beast description that reflect the widely held beliefs about black men during this
time

The story Othello is propelled by feelings of intensive jealousy all of the action and
consequences that unford are the result of jealousy,Lago is jealous of cassio appointment as
lieutenant over him,he also believe that Othello has an affair with his lover  Emilia,Lago also
was envious of Othello's standing venitian society despite his race,he has been celebrated and
accepted in society ,Lago is envious of Othello's position as a general of the army,Rodrigo is
jealous of Othello because he is I love with Desdemona,Rodrigo is essential to the point his
actions actual catalyst int the narrative,jealousy eventually led to Othello degradation and
Ultimatw downfall

Othello the general in the venitian military service is known,very much regarded and trusted
by the state for his bloody wars against the tunks,a widely traveled man with a rich experience
of war and adventures,it was theses war stories about tales of battle,sidges,perils in land and
in water hair breadth,escapes life in prison of war sails in enemy territories and so on there
were also stories about savage nations the cannibal man eastern Africa whose hand extended
beyond their shoulders these tales portrayed Othello as a brave and gallant soldier which
made Desdemona fell in love with him
