As the two boys sat outside the gate, they discussed the

Chike and Chinedu did their share of the class clean up after
school on Friday

around the school and on the streets after school before

Since Chinedu and Chike were the prefects for primary six,

they ensured the storage room was locked up after every

other class had cleaned it

When they were sure everyone was through, they went to
the storage to be sure all the cleaning materials were

accounted for before locking it and returning the key to the
school's receptionist

Everything happened so fast that they didn't even know

when the doors were closed

They sat in the small storage room and waited, hoping that

their parents would come for them

where they were attended to

Everyone was thankful for
finding them and were less concerned about why and how
they ended up locked in the storage room

were the only ones unhappy about finding the boys but kept
quiet to avoid drawing attention to themselves

and the Headmaster were happy that they were safe and
healthy

Primary six was finally over, and Graduation set in

School'

They all laughed as they went to their hostels

made it seem like an emergency, and Chinedu, without
thinking, came to the school gate rather than go to class

Bright knew this and was hoping to set him up

he was searching to make sure

Classes had already begun, so he questioned Chinedu

They both went to

the student who had called him out and, after investigation,
found that it was all a prank by someone not even in the
school

Bright transferred to The Lord's Glory Secondary School by

the next semester

To get close to Chinedu, he made a public show of knowing

They soon became bullies in their quest to prank someone,
going as far as locking a student in classrooms and toilets

One day, the Principal, Mr Ajayi, called Chinedu for a chat

room and using a mop stick to jam the door from outside

He remembered how Chike and him were locked
up for days in the primary school storage
