What is Biomechanics?
Bio= life; physical actions
Static: form of mechanics that analyses systems in constant state of motion
 Could be no movement at all
 Could be constant velocity with no acceleration
 Example – Jogging, swimming, cycling
Dynamic: form of mechanics that analyses movement systems that are in motion
and accelerating or decelerating
