Colchester zoo
In Colchester Zoo one of the internal stakeholders are the owners, these will be the people that
make the business aims and objectives and they will be working very closely with the stakeholders to
try and get aims and objectives that suit both the business and its stakeholders

So this objective that they have set
out may be good for side but bad of the other stakeholders

Wages will be the
biggest concern for the employees because if the business decides to expand their business and
have more land to cater for more animals then the employees may want a rise in their wages
because the staff will be expected to pick up the extra work and if the business say no to their rise
then they may involve the union which will help the staff get a better wage and this could be very
bad for the business because the staff will not be happy and the work rate and motivation will
decrease and this will then effect the customer which they are looking after
...

The customers are also another external stakeholder and they will have a big influence on the
business aims and objectives because the customers are the people who will make the business
successful because they are buying the products that the business are selling
...
The business may
think that this is a good idea but then the staff may not because the staff would require an increase
in wages because they are working longer hours and they may also require extra staff to help during
the summer
...

The Police
In the police they have different stakeholders and for different reasons compared to Colchester Zoo
because the difference between them is that Colchester Zoo wants to make a profit each year
compared to the Police who is a non-profit organisation and don’t look to make a profit at the end of
year, there only mission is to provide a service to the public what is value for money
...
The government will sit down with the police chief commissioner year to
discuss new aims and objectives which they want to set
...
This will be a good
objective because to achievable and other stakeholders will agree with it and this that’s it’s a step in
the right direction
...

The unions
The employees
One of the external stakeholders is the suppliers
The final external stakeholder for the police is

They have internal which contain the employees, managers, unions and the government and then
you have external stakeholders which contain suppliers and the public
