Summary:
Caesar meets with Euphronius regarding the peace treaty

Euphronius also explains to Caesar that Cleopatra acknowledges that
Caesar’s victory but requests that she should stay queen of Egypt

Caesar orders his
servant Thyreus to return to Cleopatra with this proposition

 “Women are not in their best interests strong”  Caesar reinforces his
previous treatment of marrying off his sister without her permission

 “Observe how Antony becomes his flaw”  Here Caesar commands the
slave to observe how Antony reacts to his defeat and how his changed
attitude will affect his behaviour

The servants re-enter with Thyreus, and Antony sends him back to Caesar
