Sympathetic pathway = preganglionic, ganglionic, post
ganglionic

Preganglionic neurones are in the spinal cord and their
fibres (axons/ preganglionic fibres)

Preganglionic fibres leave spinal cord and travel through the anterior rami
of spinal nerves to the sympathetic trunks via white rami communicantes

T1-6 innervate the head, supper limb and thoracic viscera

T7-11 innervate body wall and abdominal viscera

T11- L3 innervate the lower limb and pelvic viscera
