LESSON ORGANISATION

(based on Australian Curriculum: Health & Physical Education)

Intention: By the end of the lesson students should be able to analyse and discuss the tactics and skills shown in the videos and understand the
commitment AFL players make to their diet
Pre-lesson organisation:
-Ensure that the videos are up and ready to go when the activity comes around
-Organise the A3 pieces of paper and set them up on the desks of the students as they come into class
-Organise the AFL diet papers on the desk printed out and ready for the students
Equipment:
-1x Small footy
-8x A3 pieces of paper
-2x pack of coloured pencils
-8x papers of AFL player diet
-Piece of A4 for every student

spread themselves around in the

progresses

situation and is the only person in the

with, as the game is called silent ball

Bridging organisation
-Get the students to have a seat back in their chairs and congratulate the winner
-Get the students into groups of 4 and hand out an A3 piece of paper to the groups
