Activity 2: Group balancing statics
-Pairs are to find 2 other pairs to make a group of
6 and are given time to make their own static
shape within the group to perform in front of the
class
-Can include all the statics taught and learnt within

-Demonstration to the class is to be assessed and
judged by the teacher to see which group has the
best structure and positions

Activity 3: Forward and backward roll circuit
-Wedges will be placed around the working area
and students are to have a go at going up and
down them
-Spotting for this is essential, as many students
will sprain their necks without support
Activity 4: Cart wheel
-Teacher to guide students through the cartwheel
as this is a difficult skill
-Students should work in pairs and help each other
