unintended functions or language dysfunction happens

Even in the academe, proper dissemination of information
should be observed to prevent conflicts and unwanted dilemmas

Let me give an example in a classroom setting in
which a teacher is discussing the lesson and yet the students are not in the appropriate condition
to accept the information

Hence, there is a communication dysfunction that is happening

Therefore, there will be conflicting with ideas because no matter how
person A expresses his own stand on the issue, person B remains on his stand that might
somehow lead to making derogatory acts that should have to be avoided if possible

Open-mindedness must be observed on
discussing serious matters

Mostly, problems like this arise at home

This would create wrong response on what has
been asked to you
...
Even if the
first instruction is not yet done yet another instruction occurs and so on and so forth

Yet, tensions might occur that would lead to
being scolded by your parents

some students do not understand the instruction or has not heard it well or is not listening, they
ended up having a failing remarks on their paper

Persuasion is very powerful if you
know well with your craft or else you will end up problematic

For example, in normal situations with your friends, there are
times in which one of your friends throws a punch line in which the other members laugh yet one
of the members take the phrase seriously because s/he thinks the word/phrase is discriminating

Another is when people are watching a teleserye wherein one person reacted
suddenly because of the theme of that story

I have just told you some concrete examples regarding the arising conflicts between
intended functions and unintended functions in the communication loop

in the technological aspect creates big emphasis on the lives of every person
...

Yet, at some points these also become an issue nowadays regarding the so called “responsible
mass media user” especially if it talks about societal issues
...
Now these deferring issues
became the frames of references in which not only our fellowmen are affected, yet it is already a
rampant disease in the mass media world
...
Yet, the communication process becomes unhealthy and
unsupported
...
For example, instead of talking privately on
specific issues in the family or with friends and others, teenagers opt to post everything on
Facebook which makes the problem grow bigger
...
These are just samples on the
negatives regarding the unhealthy use of mass media forms
...
Interpersonal messages would somehow lead to withdrawal if objectives
were not totally met
...

Even teachers in the academe and professionals in other fields
get entangled on the vastness and unlimited information presented towards the metropolis

Are these bits of information of
quality and correctness? How do we know? These are some questions which a person must think
before s/he accepts information
...

Yet, if a person is not sensitive on varieties of information that were presented, I do
believe that the referred person would result through withdrawal of current issues and events
...
She knows that
she was infected by HIV
...
Though she gathered a lot of
information about her illness still she was totally down because she did not know if all those are
correct or not
...
Especially that the persona was not
well-guided and directed by others which led her not to discriminate information properly
...
Furthermore,
confusion leading to withdrawal and somehow procrastination, laziness, and failure on desired
objectives occur due to unsupported, unprocessed, and unguarded viewing and reading

Communication is a two-way process
...
Yet, because of the many functions of communication, I
do believe that somehow overlapping of functions occurs
...
The so called “hearsays” is one of the common
activities especially among uneducated or short-minded people
...
Yet, the question is why do these hearsays create a conflict among
the personalities talking? It is because at first it is only in a form of informative relay but later the
information passed was either cut, blended, or overemphasized making the positive information
transformed into a slanderous and libelous act
...

Another example is upon a mother and a teenager

Why? I will give you a viewpoint

The teenager is very
excited about his/her whereabouts
...
How was the issue of overlapping of functions presented? Very easy! Both
intentions (the mother’s concern and the teenager’s concern) are positive
...
The positive intention of the
mother to keep his/her child safe and protected was misinterpreted negatively by the teenager
because s/he was overpowered by his/her excitement and anticipation that s/he would go with
his/her friends
...


I just shared to you some of my viewpoints regarding the overlapping of functions
...
Yet, the concern there is on how both parties untangle unwanted dilemmas
...

Communication is very essential in any fields
...
Hence, like food and shelter to talk or to communicate is very essential for survival at
any cost
...
When babies cry, parents have this
direct instinct that the baby might be hungry or in trouble on something
...
The function of suggestiveness is directly initiated by
the mother
...
Humans, animals, and other
living creatures have different survival mechanisms and among humans talking is of significant
value
...
Without the value of talking, do you think the man can
be able to survive for a long time living by himself without the need of others? I guess not! Of
course, the man will seek help from others through asking or might be reading for different
signage along the streets
...

Hence, the saying “No man is an island” is totally applicable on this matter
...
People grow through communication
and building camaraderie and linkages with others
...
You can never be SOMEBODY without seeking help from others
or helping others to be like you
...

Processes that are sometimes unexplainable by our naked eye, yet it occurs
