A writer from the middle East
This is a true story and a personal experience that
actually happened to me

I know the
details as it's up to me

He succeeded in writing a book about
his wife's father
...
Due to that , he chose to work in anything even
if drilling in the ground until his hands were swelled in
order to save his family (that consisted of a child girl and
a wife) the means of livelihood temporarily until he gets
another job
...
Then, he sent copies of it to the
publishing agents all over the united states in order that
one of them may take the responsibility of marketing it

...

It was natural that the man felt depressed and frustrated
...
Then, while he was working , his wife hurried
to him to surprise him that one of the publishing agents
who was a woman admired his book and influenced by it
and she wanted to hold a contract with him
...
Actually , she
signed the contact with him, told him the plan of work
and then went away
...
She said to him; " I got an offer from a
publisher with 350 thousand dollars"
...
His wife pointed to him to accept , so he
agreed immediately
...

After that he became famous and best – known to the
Americans across America
...

What happened after that, I don't care here… But I
care with the publication attempts and frequent rejection
but he finally got an offer
...
There are few writers and readers
...
Especially,
after the spread of E-books which become more popular
than paper books
...
I have worked in a paper publishing
company in Cairo, the capital of Egypt
...
I aspired to study English
...

This was delightful, but I was learning only
...
I published them on the two mentioned

sites , but I haven't sold any copies
...
This encouraged me to search for
publishing companies sites and the methods of
distribution in the English speaking world
...

The research was delightful and I was filled with more
hope
...
Therefore, I started searching through our friend
Google for publishing agents
...

Through the search, I also knew how to write query
letters, and how the agents don't like sending manuscript
at first but after accepting
...
I wrote to all the
publishing agents that I collected their e- mails
...
The reasons were sometimes
clear , and other times unclear
...
I
continued
through Linked N with other writers,
publishers and publishing agents
...
They didn't trick me but encouraged me
...
They summarized that the problem is not in the
talent and the idea is good
...

I haven't received responses from the all but what I have
received was in refusing
...
It will benefit me in the
future during presenting a suitable long book which will
have more words and its English will be perfect
...
Those are the same countries which are on my
own list
...
I know
surely that these special relationships will give me
motivation to succeed in my own project which I plan to
make during the next three years on the internet
...
I have already
published an Arabic book about a humour character and
it have made some sales
...
I also
tried to sell books through eBay but payment via Paypal
is not available in Egypt, as there are social, economic
and cultural problems an obstacles that hinder the
progress of e-commerce and eBook as well
...

Now, I'm working as a professional writer of articles and
contents across many sites in the middle East
...
