To Kill A Mockingbird Character Analysis
The author Harper Lee has only written one book during her life time,”To Kill A
Mockingbird” and it has become one of the most well written novels ever created
...
This was when there was a great
economic slump throughout the United States, everyone was poor and there was very little
everything
...
Since there was depression throughout the
United States everyone was poor, and inequality played a huge rule during that time
...
Due to this time period,
Harper Lee was able to create a story and make many interesting characters that have their own
role and impact to the story
...
She’s unusual intelligent, due to Atticus she learned how to read way before
starting school
...
For example,
one day at school, a kid in her class named Cecil Jacobs yelled to everyone that, “Scout Finch’s
daddy defends niggers” (99)

Also, Scout in general is unusual because, she acts like a tomboy and that
might be a bad thing
...
One time when Aunt Alexandra came to visit, she pressured Scout to act more lady
like and made her wear a dress to her first day of school

Jem is every responsible for his little sister, and even when sometimes she
might get in the way, Jem still loves her

He insists
his father to play but all Atticus says, “Im too old for that, son”(118)

Atticus did not drive a
dump-truck for the county, he was not the sheriff, he did not farm, work in a garage, or do
anything that could possibly arouse the admiration of anyone”(118)

behavior, Atticus is respected by everyone

Since his role as a lawyer he was requested to take Tom Robison’s case and during that
time period there was inequality towards black people, so he was losing his respect from people
whom respected him before

hound Jem for a while on her favorite subjects, her camellias and our father’s nigger-loving

In conclusion, the novel “To Kill A Mockingbird,” written by Harper Lee was an amazing and
well written novel, filled with adventure and suspense, like every chapter there was at least one
important thing that happened

For example, Atticus as a lawyer, he defended Tom
Robison, a black man who was accused of raping a white woman

All of
this characters are well made it almost feels like this were once real people who lived during that
time
